LDS members eat just like other people. They DO NOT however, drink coffee or black tea, and do not smoke or drink alcohol.

We eat anything we want to, excepting hot drinks...such as coffee, tea, or alcohol. We don't drink a lot of caffine...but we do drink it.

Mormons eat anything they want.  Mormons eat meat, grains, starches, fruits and vegetables and the best food group, the dessert group.  There are no restrictions on what they can eat but rather guidelines on how to remain healthy while eating any food you want.
In their religion they adhere to the word of wisdom.  It is a commandment that was received through revelation by Joseph Smith.  The word of wisdom teaches all to eat things in moderation and to not consume strong drinks such as alcohol, tea or coffee.  It also says that tobacco is to used "on" animals for wounds to help heal them rather than being consumed by people, either by smoking or chewing etc..  The promise or blessing for abiding by these principles is that one will "walk and not be weary"  and that the body will be strong.  Now I'm sure there is someone that can find someone that aboded by this commandment and still got sick.  There are exceptions to all things and also think how worse off the person would have been if they hadn't aboded by the word of wisdom.

Is that a joke? Well I'm a Mormon, and I eat just like everybody else. We eat everything other people do.
