Hi there, we're the followers of Jesus Christ, let us tell you our story! First, a group of us thought up a great way to build our Church. We stole the body of a crucified criminal called Yessus and told everyone that we'd seen him come back to life, then we sort of merged his story with Yessu the preacher, whom had some disciples but fell foul of the Sanhedrin and was stoned to death (but we swapped that for the crucified guy) then we need some kind of origin for the schmuck so we added on Yessui the sone of Mary of Nazareth, wife of Joseph the carpenter. Yessui was of course the son of Mary's adulterous liaison with a Roman soldier called Pantheras who was stationed in Nazareth when Joseph was away carpentering in other towns, but when we heard the superb story she made up to cover her pregnancy, we knew we just had to work that into the new religion! So there you have it, a few of the guys wrote it all up so now we have a virgin birth, lots of disciples, a crucifixion to give us a good symbol, and a Resurrection Myth to get the whole thing kickstarted.
