It might depending on what type of dreams you have. I mean, I know people who have three types of dreams:
1) their brain trying to tell them something, how the guy figured out the structure of carbon atoms
2) clairvoyant dreams: You either see this through your life or somebody else's. Could be a complete stranger or someone you know
3) just a random dream.
