As a kid, I'd walk and play in bare feet on scalding black pavement in 95-110 degree summer days for hours. Thirty minutes is just a tease.

Some times when my feet itch, I choose the hot pavement, but I've a feeling the kind you are referring to is either just been poured, or the pavement in Texas at some location where it's 110 degrees in the shade . . . Resulting in second degree burns.

Perhaps being "Water boarded" might be prefereable to some so they know that death is not an option.
