It doesn't matter. It is not a question of Belief systems, but being open minded.

It is the mirror image to this question:

Probably the same as what it would take for you to believe in a God---the existence or non-existence of an afterlife.

Of course, then it would not be about belief, it would be about verification of previous beliefs.

(That's it---my head is starting to hurt.)

Yeah---sometimes I forget where and when I learned what I did.

But I remember the teachers were concerned that all of us answer the Bishop's questions at Confirmation correctly.

I already do not believe in anything like that. The only thing I believe in is to be nice with everyone, love people, and bring no harm on other people. With all due respect to all my religious friends, I see religion only as a tool to control people.

i believe god. I don't believe religions.

Religions is nothing , all stories are same with different name.

mostly  language split  God and religions.

example :

Islam Said Allaha is a only god

they said God is one .

they understand wrongly.

(if we understand Allaha  ( Allaha- God ) meaning we will say yes )

Christians Believe Jesus is a god .

But Jesus said  (i'm  the way the truth and the life )

Jesus is a good leader showing the path how to live

but he  Killed by ruling government , who wants to rule the world .

so they create a religion for earn People believe.

(Ruling Politics - when situation makes that you can't rule ,

then you have earn peoples believes for life time )

In ancient china Buddha priest ruling the people , under the king

they killed million peoples who not believe worship .

revolutionist force and throw then out of country .

they they will come to India. Create cast and religions.

they create a Load visnu ( happy  buddha ) and stories

they build clean and Wrong Hindu religions .(Actually They is no Hindus in india Before They come.

People Worship Grand leaders and kings.)

Load Siva and shakthi  - first humans (what Hindus believe )

they have 2 kids , Murugan (God of war and creator of and language and grammar  ) Ganesh ( Load of Love and success ( he died in middle of story ) Hinduism little bit follow  Moses bible

Adam and Ave - first humans (Christians and Islam  believe)

They have 2 kids Cain and  Abel ( Cain killed Abel).

Christians not following Proper Bible .

Islam not following proper bible.

Hindus Forgets their bible.

some Buddhas ... Following wrong  Leaders .

All are lied about religions.

All Truths are buried by Wrong leaders.

NO BODY UNDERSTAND WHY RELIGION CREATE.

NO BODY CARE. JUST FOLLOWING BLIND LEADERS.

Sorry Little bit controversy  answer.

but i wrote very little description.

Truth take More then years to write here.

I know what you are trying to get at, but it doesn't work that why. There is nothing you can say or do that will make question my faith. I have had experiences that have convinced me there is something other than the existence we are living. They are personal and I will not share them on the internet. I did that once and was subject to arrogance and incredible rudeness. Let us just say I have my reasons and my beliefs. I will not push them on you, if you do not push yours on me.

I wasn't accusing you of pushing your views, and after rereading my answer i can see where you may have thought that. I had read in another answer that you were trying to do the flip side of another question. But for someone like me who has had some personal experience, you cannot take my belief. The reason being you cannot take those experiences from me.

Well at least we've sorted it.
So because of you personal experiences your answer is actually "Nothing" . . . So there is "Nothing" that could make you NOT believe in God? . . . would you agree?

So not the heart in the literal sense, but in regards to the heart being a representation of "The Mind" or our conscientiousness?

For there to be no order in the world or love, to find out that we are not energy vibrating at different levels, which is something you cannot see, taste, touch, hear, or smell either, but science tells us is fact and people believe it. At this level there is no difference between living and inanimate objects, this is very similar to religious doctrine, the feeling of Nirvana, oneness. Vishnu's dream, and the maya (illusion), the temple of God is within you, the Rabbis say that we are one with God.

That is very interesting. It is on par with saying we are one with the universe since our substance (that of which we are made) can be found to be released in Dying stars . . . . So the Universe is in us, as we are in it.

When you start thinking about the smallest particle and what it is made of, then you get down to the bare bones of energy, Hence, the world looks very different to what we experience with the five most common senses that we use. Water isn't wet, and things are not solid, including us.

We are also limited in how we view the world. Take for example the double slit experiment, that taught us we are not equipped to view particles in all there wonder, since the world consists of the observer and the observed, which affects the truth, of "reality." Measurement is a active experience. Any measurement on the world needs action, this is where the observer and the world meet. Quantum physics tells you that the world is less susceptible to scientific penetration than was once thought. Maybe in a number of years we will meet a consensus, maybe we won't.
