Reciprocity and empathy.
Would you want some to do the same if YOU were the victim, and how does it make you feel to see someone receive "unsafe and abusive practices"? . . .
Are you indifferent to these things?
Do you take joy in their misery?
Can you see yourself or a close loved one in their place and feel the same?
You report it because at the very least we SHOULD want to all be concerned with the "Well being of Sentient beings". This is where we should all be starting from if we have a sound mind.
