Learning to "Step Back" for a broader view has been paramount to the gaining of wisdom in life.

When I was younger, I often found myself "In the Moment" and being blind to anything outside that experience. The concept of Synchronicity and the understanding that MANY experiences are taking place on a National/Global spectrum has helped me to broaden my perspective in understanding more of humankind.

It has also helped in self reflection and being able to analyze other's motivations that guide their perspective and decision making based on cultural upbringing and regional acceptance.

Yes , it sure has ! With age comes wisdom and I see things now that I never did when I was younger. I'm much more open now than I was then.

There is an old saying:  Even if you fall asleep every time you go to the opera, you will eventually still recognize the march of the toreadors from Carmen.

On the other hand, some people with 50 years experience have only gotten the same experience over and over 50 times.

So the value of getting older is highly dependent on a given person's individual interest in "truth."

Of course .. Experience and acquired knowledge teaches us a lot about the world around us.

Much has changed since my earlier days.

Priorities
change, even my attitude about what other's think changed. I've learned
how to learn, how to accept not only my faults but my limitations. I've
learned that there is no end to learning .. it is a perpetual process.
I've learned about the 'gifts' and 'consequences' in life that I used to
take for granted. I've learned about how limiting it is to take
anything for granted.

Geesh .. I could go on and on.
