Why Does The World Exist And What Created It?

Everything exists because of GOD.

The world exists simply because God wanted to create a place that he could house friends.  He couldn't house us in heaven because he gave us free will which means we have the ability to deny his law.  If this takes place, which it did at the beginning of time and ever since, there is no way for us to be in God's divine / perfect presence.  There is no room for flaws in a perfect world.  Once Adam and Eve were banned from the Garden of Eden for denying God's law people were required to offer up blood sacrifices of animals to God in order to atone for their sin because the only way to atone for sin is with blood sacrifice.  God stopped talking to man because of man's lack of faith, shown at Mt. Sinai when the people made a golden calf to worship while Moses was on the mount receiving the 10 commandments from God.  God realized that he would then have to send his perfect son in human form to be our teacher and ultimately eternal blood sacrifice so that all who believe in him will live in paradise and communion with God forever.  God is your friend, not your enemy and he wants to see you live in heaven with him.  This is why he created us.  So he could have friends.  Just as something as complex as a wrist watch or computer was created, so was the unbelievably complex human body and soul.

I didn't think people were quite so literal about 'GOD' creating the world. Observable evidence suggests a big bang being the beginning of observable time, space and energy, what happened before that is completely unknown so it could be GOD but the path since the big bang has happened irregardless of GOD. A lot of quotes about jesus.. We live because of jesus?? We (humans, animals the universe etc) existed well before Jesus, the history of life on earth can be traced 3.8 billion years ago. When did it become common place to confuse GOD into jesus? He is the son of god, not god. As for you that seemed transfixed on all the good that the humans have, if he/she/it is responsible for the good then he/she/it is responsible for the bad & that doesn't seem very god like otherwise free will created both the good and the bad. Personally I think all that has happened is due to physical mechanisms and probability, given enough time anything that can happen will happen (& given infinite time it will occur repeatedly even if it is extremely improbable e.g. A monkey typing the entire works of Shakespeare or every book known past, present and future). I believe there is no reason why the world exists, it just does. Of course, 'it just does' is not a suitable reason for existence, however, do you need a reason?Some believe their God created the world; well, I define the world as everything you, as an individual, know, see, and interact with, and if you personally see or know god, god is part of your world, regardless of whether it/he/she exists. There is no reason why the world that I know exists, but there might be a reason in the world that you know, such as God, Allah or anything / anybody else that makes your world complete.

The world exist because God, "Jesus " spoke it into existance. The world exists to make the name of "Jesus" above all others. We should thank Jesus for all the goodness in this world. Thank him for goodness that feeds the hungry and forgives the wicked. Thank him for dying on a cross for forgiveness of our sins and healing of our hearts. He's the one who paid the price for our wrong doing. Jesus created the world and expects man to rule over it, free to obey or disobey his laws.

According to muslims, "Allah" created the earth for humans. So we should thank Allah for the great gift of the world. If you want to know more you can read muslim books , there you'll find satisfactory answers to all your questions like this.

There's no doubt that God created this universe. Yes. We LIVE now because Jesus died for us. Look at it this way, Jesus DIED for us, so we LIVE for him. Let's be grateful for the life we have. I hope this helps and won't confuse you.
