How can they be telling the truth. They can make a prediction but it isn't necessarily going to happen and if it does then it could be coincidence or fate :)
They actually do tell the truth. I do agree with you that God created us and HE knows everything but there are people who actually can tell the future most like some prophets and there are people who are psychics who can. Some actually get this ability from the devil
