According to my NIV Concordance in the back of my Bible 2 CH 2:20.  But, I have a feeling it was before that.

Exodus 21:8 NIV
If she does not please the master who has selected her for himself, [ Or master so that he does not choose her ] he must let her be redeemed. He has no right to sell her to foreigners, because he has broken faith with her.

Actually, the Hebrew ford used here is 'bagad' meaning disloyal, trecherous, or deceitful. The first appearance of the Hebrew word for faith,'emuwnah', is in Deuteronomy 32:20. But notice, here too it is in a negative context - "children in whom is no faith." The next appearance of 'emuwnah' is not until Habakkuk 2:4, "Behold his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: But the just shall live by his faith."
