Lady Gaga was raised in a catholic home and while she admits she agrees with the idea of religion, she is not willing to state what religion she now practices.
In an interview with US chat show host Larry King, Lady Gaga was questioned about her religion and she told him the following: "I believe in Jesus, I believe in God, I'm very spiritual, I pray. At the same time there isn't one religion that doesn't hate or speak against or be prejudiced against another racial group or religious group or sexual group." Lady Gaga then went on to say: "I guess you could say I'm a very religious woman who is confused about religion."
Lady Gaga can be a very controversial pop star due to her outlandish costumes and risqué music videos. Therefore she certainly doesn't seem the most reserved and religious person. Also with songs such as 'Judas' she pushes her beliefs and seems to keep people guessing on what she truly thinks about religion.

Some people will say that she will act different when she's performing and that's ok because she's just being an artist. But if she truly is a Christian, her actions should show it. On and off stage.
Yeah...I don't believe she is. Just because she prays doesn't mean she is a christian. True people might be making assumptions because of the way she talks and acts but in the end its true. Out of the heart the mouth speaks. If she was a christian she would be working to get sin out of her life and not live the same way she is living. If someone believes in Jesus as their Lord and saviour then good works and obey God's law should flow naturally from that. A christian should not want to sin and work hard to not.
Wow. Just wow. So many people are demonstrating their ignorance of what the Bible says. We don't judge Lady Gaga, but we can judge her fruit. Her lyrics promote things that God hates - sin - she sings about adultery, fornication, and lust of the flesh. She glamorizes the temporal while God calls us to glorify Him. Look at what the Bible says: Galatians 5:19-21 "The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: Sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God." These are not my words...they are God's.
God loves everybody, but that doesn't mean everybody's a Christian. Likewise, everybody sins, but not everybody is going to hell. And to answer the question, nobody knows how faithful she is except her, and God himself. So what if she wear's cross earrings? I know lots of people who wear cross necklaces who don't believe in God at all. And even if she says she is faithful or tries to give that impression, that doesn't mean anything either. It could be completely honest, and it could all just be a trick to lead faithful Christians astray. As I said, nobody except her and God really know, so this is probably the best answer your going to get from any of these people. They know no more than you do.
Doesn't look like it. Her vids are flooded with occult symbolism, her lyrics are in some cases just sick... If she is one then she certainly doesn't live like one.
She probably is, she's demonstrated that lady gaga is just a character. What she does as an artist does not reflect at all how she is as a person. Lady Gaga is not a christian, but I'm pretty sure that Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta is.
Catholic or not, a "christian" is a follower, a disciple, and a reflection of Jesus Christ. All other's are "cultural christians." meaning sundays only. And wearing crosses. Etc. But living a worldly life. I think in a way gaga is giving the impression that she's a freak, and the world knows it, but God still accepts her, and loves her. But I don't know her life.
Yes she is! You could be the worst person in the world and God would still love you! We are not perfect so we sin. Just by looking at her people assume she isn't a christian but she grew up one. God loves you no matter what!
None of you know how Lady Gaga lives. You all say that she is sinful because you know about her lyrics, but you know nothing of her way of life. And even then, you provide no proof of her lyrics being filthy.
She uses curse words occasionally. She makes sexual references. If this is going to get her into Hell in spite of her faith, then an EXTREMELY slim amount of people will find salvation.
A true Christian doesn't judge people based off of their sins.
Praying to God and wearing cross earings and dedicating her songs to Jesus definately does not mean she's a Christian! Just seeing her actions and her filthy mouth! It really doesnt matter if she's catholic either, they follow this rule saying that you have to do good things to go to heaven, but in the Bible it says you need to accept Christ to be able to go to heaven! God truly loves her no matter what!
I don't know if she is or not. However, there is cult and occult symbolism in her music videos for example. Some people have interperted these videos and the song playing. The thing is a person would or should be confused with her claim of being a Christian and then seeing her music videos.
Lady GaGa being a Christian or not is really irrelevant. The most important question is are you a Christian. Because when it's all over and done with that's all that's going to matter. Hope this wasn't too blunt or hurt any feelings.
Her daddy might be, she might be kinda like an Alice cooper, running away from it. However someday she's going to see Jesus Christ, and repent and all of her sins and wrong doing, and be born again :)
Yes she is. She prays before every show, And she dedicated a performance of paparazzi to Jesus, and she says she loves Jesus more than anyone, because he's the only man that hasn't screwed her over.
I don't know, but I've got a feeling Lady Gaga is a Christian deep at heart. Paparazzi and Bad Romance have a lot in the lyrics that look that way. "I want your ugly, I want your disease... I want your love."

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta a.k.a Lady Gaga is NOT a Christian. She was a Christian, a Roman Catholic. But now, she is not anymore. She kinda anti-Christ. She is now a Satanist.
