After Joseph was sold to a camel caravan by his 11 brothers, he was purchased by an Egyptian officer---a blessing for Joseph by God who watched over him. Later, the wife of his master wanted all the gifts and money that her wife had given to Joseph and she contrived a way to make it happen.

The Egyptian officer liked Joseph very much and treated him like a son, putting Joseph overseer all of his goods to Joseph, his young and handsome servant who kept the house clean and did much more for his master. The master made him overseer of his house and all that he owned.

The Lord, God of Heaven, blessed the Egyptian because he loved Joseph---God had special plans for Joseph because he was of the lineage of Abraham.

One day when the master was gone, Joseph was doing his work when the wife wanted to have sexual relations with him and asked, begged Joseph to do so. He refused because his master had given him the overseer job with one demand: that he not come near his wife. She was a determined woman; apparently, she knew that she could cause Joseph to be sent away because her husband cared too much for Joseph as if he was his son.

Later, when Joseph was near her, she grabbed his foot and tried to make him lie down with her and have sex with her but he ran away. Before he got away, she grabbed his outer garment and pulled it from him.

When her husband came home, she showed him Joseph's garment and said that she was raped by Joseph. The Egyptian sent him to jail.

While he was in prison, God blessed Joseph by having the the primary overseer like him and take special care of him. As the chief jailer, he made Joseph the overseer of all of the other prisoners there in the King's special jail. Joseph was respected by all as God blessed him.

He didn't have sex with her. It was Joseph's Master's wife. She made a pass at Joseph, he rejected her advances as being sinful and so then she claimed rape.
