All relevant accounts describe Jesus as a carpenter, not a chef. So, probably no.
I am not entirely sure we can pick characters unsubstantiated in history to bake anything, BUT . . If we must play the game let us play to the nines.
I am not certain Jesus would know how to prepare a meal, and I am also quite certain that this particular type of confectionary treat did not exist . . . Sure we could get into the semantics of how flour could have been processed and the type of Sugar used along with any of the spice flavorings (Probably sans a vanilla bean or Coa Coa bean) . . . So no . . He would not bake a cake.
Now to you . . . Do you think that Batman would perform as a Mohel at a bris?
No more than he would give Oreo's to a mixed couple.
Seeing as he was a carpenter and not a baker, I don't think so.
With that said, here is a bible quote.
Mark 12:31
‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
The other quotes people tend to quote on the subject are from the old testament and that was written before the arrival of Jesus. One of the quotes most often used is from Leviticus18:22, "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination." But Leviticus is also the book that tells you not to eat shellfish, or mix your grains, or fabrics. So you are just as likely to go to hell for eating a shrimp Po'boy on a whole grain bun while wearing your cotton/poly blend t-shirt.
Imagine/ J. Lennon.
Jesus Christ declared that God’s Word is truth. (John 17:17) That means that he endorsed God’s view of homosexuality as described at Leviticus 18:22.
I am confident that He would convey both His justice and mercy to all involved.
But since there are no records of how He might have involved Himself and a cake with that couple, I refuse to speculate.
Haven't a clue, but what I do know is that Asher's bakery in Belfast make a bloody tasty boiled cake.
The problem with a question of "what would Jesus do?" is a tough one. None of the gospels were written by anyone that ever heard his voice, much less have first hand knowledge of his teachings. Most of the NT was written by another unknown person that called himself Paul, who had his own agenda to proclaim his own version of Judaism/Christianity. So there is really no way to know what an unknown person would do, on any subject or circumstance.
