Give His comment to "render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's and to God the things that are God's," I propose that He was a member of the Dichotomous Party.
(And yes that was definitely a joke, but He was pretty clear about His stand on certain things.)

I would state it slightly differently, however: "He was THE man."

I have read that Jesus actually received training from the Essenes.
Many years ago I read THE ESSENE GOSPEL OF PEACE, translated by EDMOND BORDEAUX SZEKELY (1905-1979), who was a modern-day student of the Essenes.
It is suggested that he was an Essene, due to his apocalyptic and messianic teachings
