The way to think about Ultimate Reality in Hinduism is the same as any other religion or way of life (including atheism):

Because just by asking the question you have already made the connection... Ultimate Reality is who we are, a tremendous momentum of healing that underwrites the whole cosmos, the only certain thing in all the vicissitudes of life.
