Good question . . .
We react to our outside stimuli all that time, but what if the stimuli slows down. So what scientists have found is that the youth of today is not bored enough. There is so much stimulation for this generation that boredom becomes more then a little uncomfortable. In the past boredom helped to stimulate creativity . . . So in an a sense "Idle Hands" were more humanities tools rather then the "Devil's".
So where does this leave us? I think if you are more Dynamic thinker you might be governed by external . . . Find a problem, solve a problem. Boredom, forces creativity.
. . . And perhaps a Analytical thinker might do well internally, with creating a solution to fix the problem should it arise again . . .
