31 is a great age to be!
It depends on your perspective .. If (for example) you are actually 8 yrs old .. Contemplating being 30 would be unfavourable .. However, if you were actually 88 yrs old, contemplating being 30 again would be very favourable

No way. 30's are a great age. You're just coming into your own as an adult then. But of course, all ages are what YOU make of them.
I look at 30 / 31 as a great plateau. You should be at that stage of life where you have had a few very educational experiences and you can now deal with the real you. At this point in life you should be able to look back and use what you have learned to face your next 30 years. When you reach 60ish you start all over again. Then 90 is the new 30.
