It would be impossible for us to survive if the opposite gender didn't exist as we wouldn't be able to procreate. So in that sense, we would certainly miss the opposite sex if they didn't exist. There are a fair few other things to consider however, and I've outlined them below.

X-ray = 10^-10 meters.
Gamma ray = 10^-12 meters.
The shorter wavelength, the gamma ray, is more energetic.
Nature. Mankind can't invent what already exists naturally.

It's kind of a search engine, but much more people orientated than Ask.com. Ask is turning into a kiddie site and most of the questions are lame.

I'm a personal trainer and I hear this question many times each week.
It's not a case of which exercises you do (although certain exercises will help build muscle in those areas which will help) it's more about your diet and losing the fat in those particular areas.
