It is true that there are several religious practices within Hinduism.  Most Hindus have an informal/formal prayer place in their own homes called Mandir.  They worship at home on a daily basis so it is true that worship does not have to take place only in temples or religious shrines.

Caste system is a social construct, not religious one.  Therefore, the question is incorrect. Hinduism does not promote casteism as it is practiced today. People tend to remain within their castes because of social network and support system castes provide. However, in modern times, caste considerations have significantly loosened.
