A mosque is an islamic house of worship where Muslims goes for Salat, prayers, listen to the Quran, and once a week, listen to a sermon from an Imam.

A shrine is a holy place connected with the life and beliefs of a holy man or a saint.

A church is where Christians go to listen to the New testament  say Prayers, and enact the last supper in a rite called communion.
