• What is a Deliverance Ministry?

Deliverance ministries are associated with carrying out activities related to demons, evil spirits and particularly possession.

Not accepted by all denominations of Christianity, the leaders of deliverance ministries believe that certain illnesses and physical or psychological disorders are caused by evils spirits controlling a persons body.

• What do they do?

Most popular in the United States, deliverance is often confused with exorcism, but is however not the same. Exorcisms typically use traditional rituals and holy water to banish the evil presence, while a deliverance concerns itself with mentoring and counseling the possessed individual through the process until they are delivered (cured).
