Near a cold waterfall .
My den would be in my house.
In a hollowed out recess of scrub brush, hopefully along side of a fallen pine tree.
Basking in the sunshine alongside a rambling river, while sharing my freshly caught salmon with my fuzzy lady bear and our litter of cubs
It would be right near your house so that when you were being "A Pain", I could BITE YOU!

I would have to say in a very well nestled cave with electricity, and all the amenities for comfort, swimming pool, great heater for the long winter months, and a brook near a great salmon catch. Lol
