Why Should I Believe In God?

Here  God has giving you free will to choose him and if you decide not too you will spend eternity in Hell because anyone that does not except Jesus dieing for them will be showing that they are against him.Now I know we all say we believe in this or that But if it's not Jesus then we are making a mistake he is the creator of this world and all that's in it. He created you and me and all that we see I can't make you and nor does God But I would re think this before I made a final decision on it.because when judgement day comes and it is coming that all will have to stand before him whether you chose him or not.Jesus Loves you and even if you don't understand the Bible ask God he will give you understanding he wants you to know about him.

I think that most people don't think you should be a "christian" rather than a "satanist", I think it is that most people rather you be anything than a satanist. However, of course, you can be whatever it is you want to be no matter what other people want or think. It's just that Satan is an eveil entity. He is running ramped on this earth, pursuading people to turn away from God in many different ways. Arrogance, selfishness, hate, jealousy, thoughtlessness, spitefulness, iniquity, indifference, deceit all come from satan's powers, not God's.

God created satan to be good. But satan turned "evil". Why is he called the prince of darkness? In Hebrew the word satan means, to be hostile. You say you have a hard time to believe some of the stories in the Bible...ok, I'll give you that. But where is there a book that lasted over 2,000 years speaking of the joys and wonders of Satan as there is of God?

The bottom line is, satan is a malevolent being. Most people,  I think, whether christian, buddhist, muslim, catholic or even non-denominational, would rather believe in something good, or maybe even believe in nothing at all, rather than something evil.

I don't think you should be christian. I think you should explore all of spirituality and learn. There is so much to learn if you only look. God is beautiful for me.

You do not have to be Christian. You should want to be Christian so you can be  next to God someday when you die. How can you believe in Satan if you do not believe in God? If you do not understand what the Bible is trying to tell you ask someone who does. There are many interpretations but all are good for living your life. It is like an instruction manual given to us by God. If you live your life by its principles you will have morals and be socially acceptable. If not well...It is your choice of course.

Short answer:  Believing in God gives meaning and purpose to everything you do. A divine power created you for a purpose and sustains you for a reason.  In believing, you can turn loose of the fear of dying and believe everything about your  life has value.  

You shouldn't. Belief is intellectual. People believe blindly. Try to find some quiet time in nature and feel life breathe in and out, almost as if you are being breathed. This experience is worth more than a thousand "beliefs". Watch a sunrise and experience joy at the beauty, always the simple things bring us the most joy. What your mind makes of the experience is another story, the experience is what counts.

Just think about it:  Why would you not want to believe in and love someone who sent His only son, Jesus into this rotten world to save us from our sins by dying a cruel death on a cross.  He was the sacrifice for us.  He is the ONLY WAY we are going to get to live in heaven someday.  John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life."  That is the answer for me. I don't think you should believe in god i mean come on now someone one man is going to fal out of the sky at any moment and gives us our justice what he see's fit that is bs if you ask me and i know about religion i went to methodist churches catholic babtist hell i even tried some budda nothing makes since to me. It's not my choice it's your's but i'm just giving you insight

You don't have to if you don't want to, that is your choice. I personally have faith that he is there, and loves us all dearly. We are his children.

Why? I really can't think of one good reason. There are far far far more reasons not to than there are to believe.

Believing in something that isn't there is a sign of mental illness. So, no, you should not believe in the supernatural.

It's your choice in whether you believe or not... Sometimes the only time you see the good in life is when you're down... And when you're down it is the hardest time to have faith in anything.... I won't tell you how to believe and the "Why" part is between you and God...

The only way to believe in God, is to get to know him first.

Have you ever lied, have you ever stold, have you ever lusted after a lady? If you ever done any of them just once you are a sinner. You fall short of the glory of God and deserve eternal death. That is hell for ever. How can we escape hell. God is perfection so how can God be with humans that are filled with sin? God said that the only way to forgive sin is the shedding of blood. That seems really drastic to us, but God is just and wants us to know the severity of sin. So we are stuck what can we do? Mankind is sinful all of us has sinned. Well God loves us so much that He became a man and did not sin then offered his blood for our sins. Wow did we get lucky. How do we cash in on this forgiveness that Jesus gave to mankind? The bible says you can't please God without faith. All you have to do is believe that Jesus died for your sins. If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that He died and then raised from the dead you'll be saved
