My guess would be because in the early 90s I knew a few hookers that would wear red nail polish and lipstick with blue or green eye shadow, but all that is different now. Christians can wear red nail polish!
Why can't female christians wear red nail polish? I heard a lady that was a visitor at our church say that girls who are christians shouldn't wear red nail polish. Is this true?

What does what you are wearing on your fingernails have to do with sharing the love of God toward other people? Helping other people and sharing God's love can be done whether your fingernails are polished or not. I have seen people with tattoos share Gods love more then people that are clean head to toe. Many people have their own idea on how to serve God and it is rules that turn people from God in the end. It is up you what you believe after all, your the one that has to stand before God in the end to answer on how you treated others.
Believe it or not but in some Pentecostal churches red was a forbidden color. Why, I have no idea. Maybe they thought it was the color of passion or the devil and would make people sin looking at you. I think the church has come around to many of these man made rules and as long as the people are dressing modest there is no real issues.
No. My whole family is christian and catholic (Catholic is pretty much the same thing) we are Vietnamese and we do nails a lot(it's just how things are) I don't see anything wrong with that.
One of the commandments isnt thou shall not wear red nail polish so I think you are safe. I have no idea what that lady was talking about and Iv never heard anything else of the kind in church

I'm not sure, i was born christian and they wore red nail polish and red clothing. It might matter where you come from.
I am a Christian and though I don't wear fingernail polish, I don't feel like it's a big deal. That may have been that woman's opinion or simply a personal conviction.
