Would the world be better off without religion?

Would the world be better off without religion?  That is an interesting question. The world would most deffinetly be better off without false religion (any religion that teaches something other than what Jesus taught) (Galatians 1:6-9) 6 I marvel that YOU are being so quickly removed from the One who called YOU with Christ’s undeserved kindness over to another sort of good news. 7 But it is not another; only there are certain ones who are causing YOU trouble and wanting to pervert the good news about the Christ. 8 However, even if we or an angel out of heaven were to declare to YOU as good news something beyond what we declared to YOU as good news, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said above, I also now say again, Whoever it is that is declaring to YOU as good news something beyond what YOU accepted, let him be accursed.
Christendom is deffinetly not a good example to be followed. More blood has been spilled in the name of Christ than it would take to float an aircraft carrier. The two world wars were dominated by so called Christian countries (not including Japan). Islam, hindu,Baptist, Morman, scientology do not glorify God by any strech of the imagination. If a religion has to kill those who do not believe the way they do then it is false to God.If a religious order has as its representatives some one who lives in luxury off the money begged or coherst from its adherents is false.
Please do not send me anything about how I am Prejudiced. I am not. I am just stating facts anyone can see. Show me a religion that follows the teachings of Christ as taught in the Bible. Who does not teach from their own ideas. Who does not "shear their sheep" so they can live in mansions, and who's adherents do not kill their brothers and you might get close to having religion that that would be good for everyone.
