"God exists" or "God does not exist" are hypothesizes that can't be subjected to a test by experiment.  It just isn't in the realm of science.  Many things aren't.

Proving this sort of negative is not possible. Since there is no actual evidence in it's favour, religion requires faith. If you have faith it will always be "real" for you. If you don't, it won't.

We all know that Religion is a creation of humans.  Now if you are actually speaking about FAITH, I don't see how you can prove or disprove the existence of a ”higher being."

Religion itself is real. Its the existence of God that is up for debate. Religion is just an ideology or belief system that somebody devotes themselves in. A religion doesn't have to have a God to be considered a religion. Science on the other hand is a purely objective and neutral field of knowledge. It has nothing in common with a religion. You can argue all day about whether or not science disproves the existence of a deity but saying "religion isn't real" is grammatically incorrect /: It would have been more reasonable to ask "does science disprove the existence of a deity" since religion is actually a thing that exists(although I do believe in God so religious people please don't get mad at my answer)

First let's define religion. According to dictionary.com it is a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs. So as long as people believe, religion is real.

I suspect that you were meaning what if the God, or gods, or whatever higher power were proven by science to not exist. There is a problem with that. One of the first things I learned in science is you can never prove something doesn't exist. There is only lack of evidence that it does.

True religion cannot be proven false by science because it is true. Therefore, since Jehovah is the true God, no one can stand in his way (Isaiah 43:10-12).
