Why is the world such an ugly place?

I get it, there's terrible stuff that's going on everywhere. But there is beauty in living. Make the world an even more beautiful place than it is now.

There is much more beauty than ugliness in the world.

Ugly? It isn't from where I'm standing. You must be viewing the world through excrementally-coloured glasses.

The world itself is beautiful..

Is it just the people you don't like? The world is gorgeous...

Because you choose to believe it is.

Because you're looking from the wrong perspective. The world is as beautiful as you allow yourself to find it.

The world is not an ugly place. There are just some ugly people inhabiting it. You have to find a way to get away from them and go towards those that see the beauty, and cherish it.

The world is damn beautiful! Maybe the cruelest thing that ever happened to earth is the existence of humans.

I see beauty in the world every day.  I think most of us see what we're expecting to see.

Depends what you choose to fixate on.

I not sure what you are referring to, the earth or the people.  If it is the people you are talking about, the bible gives the answer at 2 Timothy 3:1-5, " But know this,that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. It also shows us why at Revelations 12:12, " On this account be glade, you heavens and you who reside in them!  Woe for the earth and for the sea,because the Devil has come down to you,having great anger, knowing that he has a short period of time." Because of that Satan has cause many people to act in a way that has caused many to feel that the world is an ugly place.  

The earth is a beautiful planet though humans are trying to bring it to ruin with their many wars, and oil pollution etc.

The world is beautiful but there are some people destroying it and each other.

Only if you see it with ugly eye's. If you want to be someone else, change your MIND.
