No. I used to work with someone who was born on the same exact day I was. I was just a few hours older. We had totally different personalities. And if you ever met a pair of twins, or people from other multiple births, you can see how different they are. They all have different experiences as well. So no, astrology isn't real.
Is astrology real? I've been researching it and a lot of it seems really accurate but I don't know for sure.
It is a pseudo-science, and therefore is not supported by mainstream science and empirical studies. However, if taken to be a metaphysical field, then perhaps it isn't possible to prove that it's "not real". It depends on what you believe and how you interpret the information.
Astrology is pure bunk.
In study after study groups of people handed an astrological projection supposedly based on their signs and what not all agreed that the projection was accurate for them. Then they were shown that the astrological projection was the same on all of the papers handed out.
Plus the stellar alignment is siginificantly different from the begining of astrology to now but astrology has not taken this into consideration.
People in ancient times believed astrology to be true. They believed where, when and at what time you were born within the zodiac predicted your future. This is because astronomy and astrology were intertwined. They built all sorts of structures to depict where the sun was this gave us time, days, seasons and years, the Arc of the sun. 30 degrees to each month resulting in 360 a complete circle. They also studied the moon and other planets and the star systems. These all fell within a zodiac which was divided into twelve signs much like our clock divides hours and our year divided by months. The seasons divided by four quarters, making a cross at the centre.
As for today, well it could be said you could read into whatever you are told and make it fit.
I think there are some hidden truth behind it. Many famous and less famous philosophers studied astrology. Nowadays the scientific paradigm has changed. Scientists classify astrology as a pseudo thing.
As a philosopher myself, i find the problem of human existence very much connected with influences of planets and zodiac. As did many philosophers in the past. The problem may rest on the fact that current scientific paradigm is deprived of anything metaphysical. There is only method that is followed. Metaphysical roots are forgotten.
No. Astrology is based on gross errors regarding the structure and the operation of the universe. Thus, it obviously cannot be from God. Because its basic premises are founded on untruths, astrology cannot be an accurate source of information regarding the future.
