Under Mosaic Law, was adultery always wrong for a male?

I know absolutely nothing about this subject (so I obviously have a real nerve answering).

I did do some research. Apparently it is REALLY bad to get a bit jiggy with someone else's wife.

It's nothing like so clear about liaisons with unattached female ladies of the opposite gender to males.

Weird.

I lack the "Finesse" to disengage correctly when one is left without a proverbial leg to stand on, and ends up resorting to "Red Herring" tangents that are the equivalent of a school yard "Nyah Nyah Nyah Nayh . . . Nyah."

I would like to say it would be frustrating if it wasn't already an expected outcome whenever your back is against the wall . . .

Nice to see that you admit that you have no leg to stand on.

But I only stopped back by to mention that anyone who has taken a course in basic communications knows the difference in the words between "think" and "feel" and when each should be used.

I just can't wait any longer for you two to catch up to me.

As Heraclytis said: 'You can't even dip your foot in the same river once." (Greek philosopher)

Anyway, I offer you the same sign-off that I just posted to The Z:

To borrow from the song:

"I'm glad to go; I cannot tell a lie. So long, farewell Auf Wiedersehen, goodbye.....Goodbye

"Nice to see that you admit that you have no leg to stand on." - Do I often refer to myself in the third person? . . . I think not. The direction of the comment found it's home . . unfortunately "home" found another playground ditty of "I'm' Rubber your Glue.". Hang unto that "youthful mind" Thomas . . . It's what makes you full of Wonder and repeatedly make decisions off of how you FEEL and disregard the need to THINK.

Adultery (much like wearing mixed fabrics) is forbidden for both genders. The Mosaic Laws began with (surprise!) Moses, The 10 Commandments. The 7th of which states succinctly, "Thou shalt not commit adultery."-EX 20:14. Also Lev 20:10, Deut 5:18, & Prov 6:32 say the same.

NT repeats the Mosaic prohibition verbatim in Matthew, Mark, Luke, Romans, and James.

Funny, it took an atheist to answer this question.

You've become quite the spiteful troll, Tom. Oh how disappointing.

Sadly, what some Christians embrace as truth, isn't.

Thomas, simply put, Christians "Feel" they are equipped to interpret the scriptures as they see fit whilst under the "Influence" of the Holy Spirit . . . If the scriptures truly be God's word, it should stand "As Is" sans no additional need for PERSONAL interpretations taking place.
They adapt according to their prefix of "I feel this is what it's REALLY telling us as believers" . . .
What it's Really telling you is the actual Context and meaning clearly evident.

The mosaic law, you mean the law that christ said "not one jot will pass away until heaven are earth pass" The law that christ said "whoever disobeys it and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of God", The law that christ criticize people for in the NT for not keeping it, the law that both the Jews and the gentiles kept in both the Old and New Testaments??? The law that christians ignore today because they think they aren't under it anymore and ignore what Christ said?

modern Christians don't realize that they are followers of the constantine creed which was made sometime in the 300AD's, very anti-jewish.
