Can you say something good happened to you today? If so what was it.

My brother, who lives in another state, just called. We talked and laughed for awhile, and then starting making plans for his visit in a month. Knowing I'm going to see him soon, makes me happy.

Even though I had to go to the dreaded DMV.....😲😵😨😰😭.....thankfully there was a Suddenlink store in the same place as I don't have "hard copies" of my bills, and needed another "proof of address" the nice lady printed me off a copy to take to "that place" but I did get a wonderful phone call today and that I'm still smiling from, and my ride has a shiny new license plate!

I can't say anything today.

Our company ordered in free pizza for everyone!

Went and got a nice haircut and had a few minutes on the phone with a super lady. Still early but it looks like a nice day for me !

I have all four of my children together, happy, healthy, almost done with school work and...... Getting along!!!! They are doing crafts for daddy's birthday and watching Pokemon and eating lunch. I escaped to answer my ummmm "emails" aka sneak in a question to answer on Blurtit!!! :0)

I visited my optometrist today and he officially proclaimed that I am "on the fence" of old age with regard to my ocular system.

Turns out it just isn't really that bad after all.

I've had a rough couple months.  Things seem to be turning around a bit though.  Each day I wake up comes with a little less pain than the day before.

Any day above ground,

is a good day.

It's sad that my teachers are leaving, but we had a surprise party for my English teacher because about half the class has had her for 2years, and we're going on an excursion to a German-themed restaurant for my History teacher, as we just finished the inter-war years and she's also leaving.  And then we have the school fair tomorrow.  So I only have one lesson for the next 2 days that I have to actually do work in :-)

I woke up next to a wonderful person, I looked fully into the sun and took in a deep cleansing breath of fresh fall air, I enjoyed slow cooked beef stew for lunch, and I am sharing and communicating with some of the best people on this planet, right here . . Right now . . .

It's impossible to just pick one thing out of all those great things.

It's pretty early in Oz so I'll have to tell you something great that happened yesterday.

Mrs Didge and I took our dog for a walk up in the mountains. It was so cold, and with a wind so strong that the little lake up there had white caps on it. We cut the walk short and came home. So why was that good? While we were away the same winds blew down a tree in our garden. If we'd been at home I might have been standing under it.

So my "something good that happened" was really something bad that didn't happen.

I got through the work day, and I don't work on Fridays anymore .... So happy weekend!

Visited Boston with wife and friends.  Nice day, good food, rode a Duck.  Had a good time.
