The Old or New Testament readings, the Gospel, the Homily, and the General Intercessions
Readings are said, usually the stories about god or jesus...
During CLW, the children participate in a easy to understand version of the Mass.
First there is an EZ version of the readings. Then the lighting of the candle happens, where they praise the Lord.
Then there is the proclamation of the Gospel. After this, there's a reflective question. I think this takes the place of the sermon. The children discuss the message of the Gospel, be it losing a loved one or how to treat others kindly, to be more Christ-like, etc. After this, there is the recitation of the creed. I am a catechist for CLW on some Sundays at my church.
