I am Persephone and I wil reveal the story.
One day on the first day of fall, Persephone and her mother Demeter the goddess of the harvest were picking flowers in the fields when Hades the god of death rose up out of the ground and kidnapped her because he had fallen in love with her because she is the greek goddess of spring and flowers. Demeter was so sad that she refused to let the earth grow. So Zeus, Persephone's father, told Hermes to go get her. But Persephone had already had eaten six seeds from the Pomegranate, the food of the dead and she had to stay in the underworld for half the year. That's why we have spring and summer(when Persephone is with her mother) and fall and winter( Demeter is sad Persephone is in the underworld) If you have anymore questions on greek mythology, tell me.
