If we are made in the image of this god does this not make us part god technically. But here is something else. Genesis-"let us make man in our image and in our likeness" us & our, what does that say. The word god is given to something that cant be explained in the times of the writings. Man wrote the stories of the bible there for man is this god. For some reason people what to believe that their is this one single thing that did all this. There is alot more to this then just blind faith

Blind faith is all religion has there is NO evidence that supports the belief in deities. NO scientific proof and no historical proof. Historical meaning that "god" has never made a mass appearance to the general public. Sure people say they see god all the time but people also claim they've been abducted by aliens too so what makes either story more plausible?because you believe that's like saying i believe in Santa, the evidence is right there presents on Christmas morning.

Needed to correct my self here said "scientific proof" when i meant to say scientific fact and or theory

Dear one, Of course. But if you ask a religious question, you surely have to expect a religious answer.

There are many sources besides the bible to back up our Lord`s word.

How many eye witness accounts do you need? How many miracles do you need? The Bible has been proven to be historically accurate as well as archaeologically accurate.. ((these peoples still inhabit the lands of the bible.. This is their history)). They did keep and have kept records.. There are tax, census, criminal, land records readily available.. And yet you have so little evolutionary evidence to back up your arguments.. But you want to belittle us.. Did you find the missing link?

Name one miracle. Then tell me again how you can disprove ANY scientific theory? You give the world a new theory that can stand against 150yrs of speculation i'll exept it as a theory but until then guess what darwin gets the nobel peace prize.
By the way:
A definition is a statement of the meaning of a word or phrase.

A theory, in the general sense of the word, is an analytic structure designed to explain a set of observations. A theory does two things:

1. It identifies this set of distinct observations as a class of phenomena, and
2. Makes assertions about the underlying reality that brings about or affects this class.

No, any religion that believes in "there" god is likely to have no out side evidence of there god because there god is only mentioned in there reading material. I am a Tao atheist, and every debate i have ever had with any religious individual has always backing them into the bible corner. They refute the theory of nature and believe that everything is here for them and them alone. They believe they are special and deserve things they are entitled to they think they are going some where special when they die, for people that have no meaning, no purpose this is good for them because they don;t belong here with intelligent people they are fools that don't get that you need to create your purpose in life for it to have a purpose.... Thats my observations have fun. BTW i don't watch these pages any more because i have better things to do. So i just insert my thoughts when i get time and such.

OK, let's try this one. The bible is said to be the "word of god". What evidence is there of this?

If u have faith u dont need evidence. U just believe.

justin fitz commented
Yeah evidence what's that? Oh you mean a fact that PROVES SOME THING? Yeah what do i need that for i have faith. Faith in god keeps me from falling if the earth. Faith in god replaces all the factual evidence of evolution, microbiology, cosmology, endocronology, physics, math, science, calculus, all things created by man. Just to prove our own existence.

Yes, I can answer religious questions without referring to the Bible because I have my own thoughts and beliefs based upon my own relationship with God and not what others have tried to ram down my throat.
