Hi -

God (the one and only God who is Triune) is "recognized" NOT by your eyes or other physical senses. Neither is God to be found inside you or in dreams / visions / revelations / emotions.  Don't look inside yourself because God is not there! Lots of stuff is there, but not God!

Now, where is God? The Triune God (the only God there is - Father, Son and Holy Spirit!) is found and recognized in the Person of Jesus Christ as revealed in the bible (which alone is the Word of God). No where else, regardless of what anyone else tells you.

God is found outside yourself and He has some very good news for us. We are all sinners against God and rightly deserve His eternal punishment for our disobedience. But God has sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, to receive the punishment we deserve and has promised that whoever places their trust in Jesus will be forgiven for all their sins (past, present and future) and will be adopted into His family as a beloved son or daughter.

No strings attached!

Grace and Peace to You

Interesting junk. It is interesting that the concept of "God's one and only son" receiving "our" punishment is never expounded in the Bible itself. To continue to perpetuate this misinterpretation of the Bible (a medieval invention) is rather anti-christian, is it not. Certainly not the word of God (whatever you perceive him to be).

A tough one, since He looks different to everyone.

Chances are you've met Him already.

God comes in many forms.  Here is an example of God's works one day I bought a necklace I lost it for a month then someone found it God comes in the form of good deeds.

If you are a Bible reader, I'm sure you have read of the many accounts where God has communicated with His faithful servants by means of His Holy Spirit, whether it was through visions, dreams, or an event that took place.  But the Bible also said that after the last apostle died that those things would be done away with, so what does that leave us with today?  Well we have His written word the Bible.  The Bible gives us all the information that we need in order to know that God is real and how to recognize His works.  Now if you look at this world you will not see God's presence here because the Bible says that "the world is in the power of the wicked one" which we know to be Satan the Devil.  And when we look at the conditions of the earth we can see that to be true.  But God does look out for His loyal ones, the ones that have been doing the work that Jesus left for them to do and that is the teaching and preaching of the good news of God's Kingdom.  So when we dig deep in God's word the Bible not only will we recognize who God is, we will also be drawn into a close relationship with Him as well.
