Finding peace and acceptance and humour in the many things I've lost over the past three years of my life and finding a way to move forward. I think to be happy and have acceptance and to keep moving forward and finding humour in your mistakes is the meaning of life, for me it is anyway.
Most important to me are my kids, my dog and pizza, not in any particular order.
The meaning of life, to me, is to enjoy life and to leave behind good thoughts about the old Hippy.
For me, life's
"purpose" mirrors Arthurian legend. It is the search for the holy
grail.
What grail? Where? How? These are salient questions and all are unanswerable
for, in my opinion, the search is impossible.
Those of us who undertake it, ask strange questions, probe for hidden meanings
and, to paraphrase Don Quixote, "go where the sane dare not go".
Yet, in spite of chasing so elusive a phantom, that's not a waste of time -- because
the search is itself the meaning.
If you reach the point where you find that satisfies your question, you'll be
well on the way to understanding. Unless, of course, I'm a total nutter, in
which case you should disregard this answer and go instead to a philosopher, a
theologian, or a mystic.
Family is the most important thing.
The meaning of life is to live. Not just as an uninterested party occupying space on this planet, but as a person involved with and effecting the radius of my being. Embracing all things experienced, and emanating positive energy to my fellow human beings.
My faith, family and friends.
