Have you ever had a mystical experience? It might have been foreknowledge, deja vu, a dream -- but something that can't be explained by coincidence. Or it might have been something far less tangible. Care to share?

It was a game of airsoft. My task was to clear a barn of enemy players. There was no way of knowing if there was anyone in the barn, but I knew that there were at least three people. I stepped into the barn. Two popped out from the second story and pelted the hay and wood as I dove for cover. I took out my handmade grenade (An Easter Egg filled with plastic pellets around a firecracker for ignition), lit the fuse, and threw it into their loft. The sounds of their screams were like music as the grenade rained down plastic hellfire! The position of the third man suddenly came to me out of nowhere. He was on my side of the barn on the other end. I climbed up the stalls like the character from Assassin's Creed and made my way over to his stall. I peered down at him as he huddled in the corner, terrified, with his weapon pointed outward. I retrieved my pistol and aimed down at him and simply said, "Hi there." He looked up and flashed a look that said, "Oh crap..."

This may not be what you're looking for but it felt like precognition while it was happening. Good luck to you!!

On Friday, I picked up my phone to call my hubby, and he was calling me.

I walked outside and smelled my friend all around me. A few minutes later my phone rang, and it was him telling me he couldn't get me off his mind. He wanted to know if I was okay.

On a thursday night I dreamt that I had my nephew in my arms, he was limp and lifeless, I was in the back of a speeding car. I told my mother as it upset me.

Two days later (Saturday), my sister had just come home from hospital with her second child (caesarian section). My other nephew 2 at the time, was unwell, I took his temperature it was 40'c and he'd developed a rash. So there I was sitting in the back of my brother-in-laws speeding car, holding my limp nephew in my arms racing to the hospital.

They tried getting needles into him, thought it may be meningitis,  eventually got medicine into him. They never really knew what it was, they think he may of had some sort of infection that he was having a reaction to.

I wasn't that close to my sister at the time so it wasn't as if I'd been spending time with the family. So yes, I've never forgotten that.  A few weird things like that have happened to me and other family members.

Thanks for sharing that, Pepper Pot. From the way you worded it, I guess the little boy was OK. So scary, though.

In a long lifetime I've spoken to lots of people about this sort of thing, but your story is one of the more fascinating. Having told your mother in advance certainly adds a layer of confirmation to your story. (It's too easy to look back later and wonder if it happened just as we remembered it.)

I keep a daily diary as well and so put it in there. I try to refute (even if just to myself), most unaccountable experiences because the logical has no mystery, no uncertainty or fear which means you sleep better at night :) but my mother knew and it was down in black and white so there was no where for me to go with that one. Yes he was ok, they got intravenous antibiotics into him and fluids, he stayed the night to be monitored and came home the next day.
