I think I was 5 or 6 years old and had a nightmare about some fairy stealing my teeth and leaving me quarters for them.
Earliest? I used to sleep in the front room and the kitchen was at the back of the house. I had a recurring nightmare that I would get out of bed, go to the kitchen for a drink of water and, as I returned to bed a witch would chase me. I'd run but the carpet would slip backwards faster than I could run and she always caught me.
Most interesting? This was also a recurring dream but I was a lot older. I dreamed I was walking down the hill in Sydney's Martin Place and, as I walked, the meaning of life became clear to me. I KNEW what it was all about. Then, when I reached the Pitt Street intersection and turned left (I always turned left) everything would spin like a kaleidoscope and I'd find myself returned to the top of the hill, walking back toward Pitt Street, and I'd have lost all that wonderful knowledge. That kaleidoscope repeated many times over a period of years. A whole lifetime later I STILL don't know what it all means. >:-/
I was about five years old and was dreaming about a poem I had read earlier - Robert Louis Stevenson's A Child's Garden of Verses. I loved the part about the girl in the swing. I remember dreaming that I was swinging really high and then falling. I woke up abruptly in the middle of the night, having fallen out of the top bunk bed. Weird.
Well me and my brother were in a house.
The house was attacked by the Maldivian legendary monster ghost, Santhi Mariyanbu
We ran but another legendary demon Foolhudhigu Handi chased us down and did some weird demon surgery on him and he turned evil and got BRACES
then he bit me.
When I woke up I found a metal thing on my arm which felt exactly like it was biting me.
About 4 dreamed that we had stopped at a store and then my parents left without me and I couldn't catch them on my tricycle. Memory probably stuck with me because it was my first nightmare.
