Yes, it is called love for you fellow HUMAN kind. Long before it is written in Hebrews, it is what kept societies moving forward.

"24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."

Many call it Reciprocity and/or "Paying it forward" . . . Sprinkle some Empathy in there and you have a winning combination for promoting humankind.

In Deuteronomy 31:12 the Israelites were told to," Congtegate the people, the men and the women and the little one and your alien residents who is within your gates, in order that they may listen and in order that they may learn,as they must fear God and take care to carry out all the words of this law."
When the Christian congregation was formed, meetings continue to be an important feature of true worship..That is why the apostle Paul write: " let us be concern about one another in order to promote love and good works, not staying away from our meetings,as some habitually do, but encouraging each other." Just as family bonds are strengthened when family members spend time together, so bonds of love between those who want to serve God are strengthened when Christians meet together for worship. Thanks Cookie. This is beneficial and good over all knowledge.
Although I am not an advocate for either evangelizing or indoctrinating, I feel that the Hebrew community was rolling this up as "Tradition" (Don't start singing "Fiddler on the Roof" now), but "tradition" in this sense meant to indoctrinate so as to keep the Jewish culture alive.
In the church we see today, I believe it is necessary for believers to congregate to reaffirm their beliefs with one another. "Keeping the Faith" so to speak. Without the congregation of "Body of Christ" it is difficult to maintain standing on solid christen ground out their on your own.
