Not Buddhist.

But anyone can recognize a "good" man regardless of his beliefs regarding "spirituality" or a "higher order."

There is truth in much of what he says.

Apropos of an older question you asked---Romero is most likely a saint "by now" even if he has not officially been recognized as such.

Yes I am Buddhist but the Dalai Lama hasn't really influenced me that much. I mean sure he's a great spiritual example who I look up to, but my day to day life doesn't really revolve around anything that he has said or done. From all the other Buddhists I've known, I'd say that they're on a similar boat too.

No and No. Although I do like some buddhist parables. Doesn't the Dali Lama live a part from the world? It's a lot harder to live in it. Wiseman says "Don't work ass off and pay taxes, get thrown in jail." What is stranger is that psychotherapists actually push the mindfulness that buddhists teach, but if you told people that you thought this world was an illusion (like buddhists teach), you'd be sectioned and placed in a mental institution.
