It's useless to you guys but the Citgo station down the street is the only station with fuel thanks to the Alabama pipeline rupture.

I don't consider this useless but it probably wont make me any money either..... I actually think it is fascinating! I LOVE the human body......

Your foot is the same length as your forearm from the bend of your wrist to the bend of your elbow. Go ahead.... Everyone check! I already had two of you guys test the theory once before! (wink wink) :0)

Escape velocity for an Australian bush fly is about 15 mph.

If you're cycling on a country road you need to keep your speed above 15 mph or you'll finish your ride with a lot of unwelcome protein in your tum.

When someone sneezes  and those around you say "God bless you" or "Bless you" it was thought (in much earlier times) that the soul (spirit) left the body (expelled) for a brief time, making the body an open vessel for any evil spirit lurking nearby to take possession. Saying "Bless you" or "God Bless you" provided that empowered "Seal" of protection so that your spirit could make it safely back in.

It is also most likely THOUGHT that when someone took ill, it was because Demons had been successful in taking up residence during one of these "sneezes".

We now know it to be virus induced, yet we still say it.

On another note “gesundheit” is German for wishing "Health" or "Good Health" to someone . . This probably more appropriate in this day and age.

Like Otis, anything involving points and a condenser is of little use these days.

What concerns me more is that since I am no almost 71, some (fortunately very little) of what I memorized long ago is no longer up date. [E.g., optometrists can now (and I don't know for how long they have been doing it) can now prescribe medications for certain eye "diseases."]

Despite their similarities, "Audrey" and "Aubrey" come from different Old English names. And the word "tawdry" comes from the phrase "St. Audrey".

This has been Levi, your guide to the world of facts.

I don't think so , every bit of my information comes handy here or the other , but I guess knowing that dabbing is a thing is quite useless I suppose!! Or maybe knowing about " damn Daniel, back at it again with the white vans " thingy...;)

I almost found out about Jersey the hard way Janis. I was at a 7/11 and some guy came running at me yelling in a foreign language, I drew back as to defend myself and a guy getting in the car next to me said No! Wait! You aren't aloud to pump your own gas!
