Yes, it is a tradition and I would rather say it is a superstitious belief. A man only gets what he struggles for. If you would like to sit at home and do nothing then you can't earn money. A man makes his own fate. Just holding the silver dollar will not come with a blessing for you. Believe in yourself and work hard for your aims and goals. I am sure that you will be blessed.
