There are no figures that claim the amount of Christians worldwide, but some sources do claim that there are approximate 2 billion Christians in this world. However, it has been observe that over the years the percentage of Christianity has been declining. For example in the 1900's the population of Christians across the globe was 34.5% and in 2003 declined to a 33.1%. Christians consist of huge groups that are subdivided. There are approximately 270 large groups and 34,000 separate Christian groups, which include independent churches. Across Canada and U.S the percentage claimed to be Christians are approximately per cent. The rest of the religion also comprises of a growing percentage. The growing rate of Islam is 19%, Hinduism is around 13%, and Buddhism is around 6%, like wise.
