I've known many Jewish people. I never would have known they were Jewish if they had not told me. The "stereotypical" Jewish look is nonesense, if you are basing it on physical appearance. Were you to dress as an orthodox Jew does, then, yes, you would look like a Jew. But I don't think your nose size has anything to do with it. That's hooey.
I'm curious, since I have your attention: Do you practice Judaism? You see, I know of a girl who says she is a Jewish atheist. That seems like a contradiction to me. Is being Jewish simply determined by ancestry? For instance, I'm part German, but I don't necessarily do anything "German". I have some stereotypically German personality traits, but being German doesn't involve any particular religious beliefs. The blood of my German ancestors runs in my veins, thus making me German.
Do you consider that being a Jew is determined only by bloodlines and not by faith? Or does being Jewish apply to both concepts? I am a gentile, but if I were to convert to Judaism, could I introduce myself as being a Jew? I have great respect for the Jewish people, so I find this discussion personally very intriguing.
