Not sure about the exact verses, but both gossip and backstabbing are roundly condemned, as they should be.

Ro 1:18,28-30,32: This scripture shows that Gods wrath are against those gossiping and those who gossip are deserving death.

2Co 12:20: In this scripture, we see the Apostle Paul showing great concern of those in the congregation "backbiting" or gossiping.
