Hazrat Khadija (R.A.A) was the first wife of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). She was a widow and was rich trader of the Arab. She sent Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) to trade for to another country. When the Holy Prophet (PBUH) came back from the tour, the companions told Hazrat Khadija about the honesty of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). The honesty of the Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) influenced Hazrat Khadija and she proposed. Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) accepted the offer and they married. Hazrat Khadija was 40 and the Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was 25 years of age.

This marriage was before the announcement of prophet hood. This marriage was uncommon in Arab, because the Arab hesitated to marry with a widow. Hazrat Khadija helped Hazrat Muhammad in spreading the Islam. She was one the earliest to accept Islam. She was very poise and noble lady. When the angel Gabriel came to Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) for the first time, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was very nervous. Hazrat Khadija said "You don't need to be worry. Allah has selected to be his prophet. You are kind to poor. You are love humanity. Allah will be with you". She was the mother of Hazrat Fatima, Hazrat Zainub and Hazrat Umm-e-Kalsoom.

Hazrat Khadija was the first wife and the first of all in embracing Islam thus gaining the honor of being the first convert to Islam. She was the only wife of Holy Prophet SAW in all times when the Quraish was inflicting hardships on him from the time that Prophet SAW declared his Prophet Hood until the time of his death in 632 A.D. Her death at the age of 65 was a great loss to Holy Prophet SAW.

She proved 6 to be of immense help and strength to the cause of Islam. Hazrat Khadija disposed all of her wealth in the welfare and the cause of Islam. Whenever Holy Prophet SAW was upset, she consoled him and inspired him with renewed hope and courage. She was a true counselor of Holy Prophet SAW.

Whenever Holy Prophet SAW was busy in meditating in the cave of Hira, she often used to visit the cave with the supplies for his eating and drinking. She was a very kind and God- Fearing Muslim woman.
