Khadija is the first wife of the prophet Mohammed (PBUH). When they got married, she was 40 years old while he was 25. She was rich widow and she needed a brave honest man to send to the north to take care of her business (Trade). Mohammed, who wasn't a prophet yet, accepted that job. When he got back, she asked the people who were in the trip about him, and they said good things about him. She then offered him to marry her and he accepted knowing that she is a wise and respected woman. When he became a prophet, she was the first woman in the world who believed in him & in Islam.
