What has Jesus done that makes you think of him?

Jesus dies for our sins.  Most people don't even know how terrible that death was.  They weren't even finished beating Him, and yet He was already beaten so badly that His own mother didn't recognize Him. They hammered metal spikes through his feet and wrists, hanging from those spikes for hours.  They gave Him a crown of thorns and stabbed Him in the side with a spear. 

That is the death which He suffered instead of us. THAT is the death each and every single one of us deserves.  But He took it for us.  It is only by His sacrifice that we are given the grace and mercy to live every day.  And the only reason we're alive now is to dedicate our lives wholly to Him.  But sadly, the vast majority of people who call themselves Christians have forgotten and forsaken God to chase after their desires in this world.  And one day... They will fall on their face, trembling uncontrollably in front of the Living God, and He will rightfully send them to hell for how they lived their lives: Disobedient toward God and devoted to themselves instead of entirely to God.
