Jesus responding to a question by Thomas, said : If you men had known me, you would have known my Father also; from this moment on you know him and have seen him," and, in answer to a question from Phillip Jesus added: "He that has seen me has seen the Father also." John 14:5-9 . So in answer to your question we imitate our Heavenly Father and his Son Christ Jesus.
Jehovah's witnesses are foot step followers of Jesus. Jesus imitated his father thus his example is what his father would have done. They accept the bible as the word of God and they follow it's direction. They have thoroughly studied the bible without church theology or traditions. They are viewed the same way Jesus and the first century Christians were viewed for seeking to do God's will.
They are the only group that points to God's kingdom as the solution to the world's problem. Thus there is meaning in the prayer that says "let your kingdom come and let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven". They try in every way possible to follow the example left by Jesus and his apostles in doing God's will.
Jehovah's Witnesses, follow their version of "What would Jesus do". They are Christians, but they do not believe Jesus is God, he is the son of God. They take their name from Isaiah 43:10 where it says “You are my witnesses,” declares Yahweh." (NOG) They however do not us the name Yahweh, they use the Latinized version "Jehovah". So to directly answer your question, they claim to imitate Jesus. I say "claim" because every christian denomination makes the same claim, with as much proof.
