"Jehovah is the worst translation possible... There was no letter "" j" in the english language until 5 hundred years ago "
-Thus follows that Jesus is also the worst translation possible for the person Jews refer to as Yeshua by some Christians of Jewish background. Even though it's widely used nowadays.

I'm confused if Yahweh & Jehovah means Lord and is supposed to be God's Name How do you reconcile that with the Following scripture? Exodus 34:14 Which says do not worship another God for the Lord Whose Name is Jealous, Is a Jealous God. (BTW some translations say "for the Lord whose name is The Jealous one is a jealous God.

Your bible obviously took out Jehovah and put 'lord'. Lord and God are not the same so it doesn't make any sense

Jehovah is gods name, just like we are not referred to he or she rather by our name, god has a name, ( if mere humans are named wouldnt god be?) His name is jehovah means he who causes to become and it is just so, jesus was gods son, not the same...often misrepresented, the trinity isn't true, jehovah jesus and the holy spirit are not all 1 thing, it is important to know gods name, and it will be the most important name you will ever come to know...remember it, for there may be a time when you wish to call upon him, and you should know his name...

Jehovah is a masculine name. it is pronounced as je-HO-va. This is an older form of Yahweh. It was used in the old Bible. The 'Jehovah' is formed by mixing together the letters of Tetragrammaton and the vowels from the word 'Adonai'. The Hebrew letters YHWH or JHVH are the words of the Tetragrammaton. The words YHWH mean 'the Lord' in English. Jehovah means Praise Yahweh. The words Jehovah and Yahweh both mean 'Lord'. Jehovah was a Hebrew God. His name was formed from 'Havah', which means 'to be' or 'being'. His name 'Jehovah' is sited seven thousand times in the Old Testament of Bible. Yahweh and Jehovah are the formal names of God.

The origin of the word is not known. When Jesus Christ was crucified, it was believed that the mankind would now have a deeper relationship with Jehovah or Yahweh, the Lord. Christ is believed to be the son of Jehovah and not his incarnate. 'Jesus' means 'Jehovah is salvation'. Today, the name 'Jesus' replaces 'Jehovah' and 'Yahweh'.

Jesus does not replace Jehovah and Yahweh...

Jehovah is the English translation of Yahweh and has been used since the 13th century when English began to become widely spoken and read.

Jesus was actually termed Yeshua in Hebrew language...so for people who think Jehovah is a mistranslation...how about Jesus as a mistranslation of Yeshua? Jesus is the English version of Yeshua just like Jehovah is the English translation of YHWH
