Personally, I can't see it. It's just another way of avoiding the probability that death is final. As such it offers no more than the eternal life of the Abrahamic religions.

I hope it's not true, anyway. It would certainly complicate things for me.

I've proposed to at least 6 or 8 women and asked them to marry me in my next incarnation. (All of them were great cooks.) If they all turn up at the same time I'm gonna be in deep doo-doo.

Guess I'm the odd man out here as I do believe in it. Have for many years and always will. People's souls are like a big recycle bin. Depending on how well you live your life this time will determine how good your next life will be. Live a bad life? You'll reincarnate into something bad. Perhaps a snake or roach.

No, its just another way for people to get around the idea that death is the end. We have this thing called life, and death is the end of life: That means that logically there cant be more life after the end of life. It just doesn't make sense to me. I think people believe in reincarnation or even heaven/hell because they are afraid of death, which is silly because it unavoidable.

Of course, if someone wants to believe in some sort of afterlife, good for them. I wish them all the best.

No. Once around is enough.

No, because I think the union between the body and the soul makes each of a one-time unique creation as humans.

To me it has no relation to any kind of attempt to escape or avoid the concept of "being dead" in regard to this mode of existence.

I have yet to see any evidence for any form of "afterlife". When you leave town do you get the million dollars? Who knows, no one has came back to tell us.

Yes  I think there is reincarnation and I tell you why. When I was released from prison here In TX they transfer you to the walls unit, there are thousands of birds inside the prison inside the cages of inmates flying around... the guards feed them, it was a kodak moment. It's like a thousand souls flying around.

I've pondered this many a time and I can't seem to draw a line of logic to support reincarnation. So no, I don't.

No, because it does not agree with what is stated in the bible at John  5:28,29

"Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practice vile things to a resurrection of judgement."  Jesus gave us a preview when he resurrected a number of people from the dead.  In each case, the person returned in human form---- as his or her previous self. A human not an animal. Mark 5:35-42, Luke 7::11--17, John 11:43,44

But I should have a choice

You do and you have chosen not to accept what God says the hope for the dead is, to live again as humans never animals. Acts 24:14,15 what a wonderful future for those who have died.

No, I don't believe in reincarnation. Nothing in the Bible supports the idea of reincarnation. In all instances where we read about individuals being brought back to life they were brought back to life as humans. Accounts of resurrections, such as at, John 11:43-45, Luke 7:11-17 and Luke 8:49-56 as well as many others give evidence of this. When these and others were resurrected, their families immediately recognized and were reunited with them. This is so comforting to me as I look forward to seeing the fulfillment of John chapter 5 verses 28,29. I look forward to seeing, recognizing and being reunited with my loved ones who have died.
